Itinerary

Day by day

Day 01 · Damascus Airport

Arrival in Damascus

Meet and greet at Damascus International Airport and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, walk through Straight Street, the Christian Quarter, St. Ananias Chapel and Old Damascus, ending with a rooftop sunset.

Day 02 · Damascus

Discovering Damascus

Visit the National Museum, Hijaz Railway Station, Hamidiyah Souq, Umayyad Mosque, Azm Palace and Bzuriyeh Market. End the day with dinner at a selected traditional Damascus restaurant.

Day 03 · Damascus → Maaloula → Homs → Aleppo

Mountain heritage and the north

Explore Maaloula’s ancient Christian sites and mountain paths. Continue via Homs for the Church of the Holy Belt and old market, then arrive in Aleppo for a two-night stay.

Day 04 · Aleppo

Citadel, souqs and local crafts

Visit Aleppo Citadel and the historic souqs, where restored market life sits alongside Aleppo soap, spices and textiles. Continue to the Jdeideh Quarter, workshops and sweet shops.

Day 05 · Aleppo → Hama → Krak des Chevaliers

Ancient Villages and the Valley of Christians

Explore the Dead Cities of Serjilla and Bara, then see Hama’s giant norias on the Orontes River. Visit Krak des Chevaliers and finish in the Valley of Christians with wine tasting.

Day 06 · Palmyra → Damascus

Desert city and the return

See Palmyra’s Colonnaded Street, Theatre, Agora and surviving temple remains. Pause for tea in a traditional Bedouin tent before the drive back to Damascus.

Day 07 · Damascus → Bosra → Damascus

A final chapter in black basalt

Explore Bosra’s Roman Theatre, ancient streets and black-basalt architecture, where Roman, Byzantine and Islamic heritage meet. Return to Damascus for an included farewell dinner.

Day 08 · Damascus Airport

Departure

Visit craft workshops, Hamidiyah Souq and Bzuriyeh Spice Market for final shopping. A private transfer then takes the group to Damascus International Airport for departure.

Good to know

Most nationalities can get a tourist visa on arrival at Damascus airport or the land crossings from Lebanon and Jordan. Some nationalities need pre-approval. See Travel info.

Bring US dollars in cash. International cards are not yet widely accepted in Syria.

Do I need a visa?

Is the price based on a shared room?

Yes. Rates are per person based on double occupancy. A private room is available for a single supplement of USD 480.

What are meals like?

Breakfast daily, a light local snack for lunch, and dinner at a selected traditional restaurant.

How do I secure my place?

Send a request. Once we confirm availability, a 30% deposit by bank transfer secures your place.
